The fat-soluble vitamins are: Vitamin A, D, E, K

This is important to know because the body does NOT STORE the water-soluble vitamins, which means you need to eat foods with these vitamins EVERY DAY.

It is also important to know because our body needs fat to transport Vitamins A, D, E, K
i.e. to ABSORB these vitamins because they only dissolve in fat
. If we cannot absorb them, the cells will not be able to ASSIMILATE them (use them).
